The summer of 2007 marked the inception of UNTIL YOUR HEART STOPS. Frustrated with previous projects that failed to meet expectations, vocalist Murtaza Sajjad recruited long-time friends Michael Stearns and Antonio Torres to fulfill guitar and bass duties for a more aggressive musical venture. The idea was to create a unique form of abrasive punk that surrendered to no specific genre limitations, while acknowledging their common love for progressive and unbridled hardcore in the vein of Black Flag, Converge, American Nightmare, and Refused.

The three original members went on to record a few rough demos, and eventually solidified their line-up when they welcomed Matt Hall into the band to take over on drums. Soon after, the band entered the studio to record what became their 2008 EP, “We Are Not Coming Down”. After a year of struggle to find a home for the release of the EP, it finally made its debut on Heart in Hand Records in January 2009. After the release of the critically acclaimed EP, the band hit the road in support of their debut offering and consistently performed around the United States for the next year and a half. When the band got home, they enlisted guitarist Jack Brown who the band claims is a “necessary step-up in not only live performances but in writing as well.”

After seven months of dillegintly handcrafting new material, the “Errors” LP was born. The band’s Creator-Destructor debut fully encompasses the progressive and raw sincerity that has been the band’s driving force of ethics since the beginning. Through nine unrelenting tracks of innovative and genuinely honest hardcore, UNTIL YOUR HEART STOPS have managed break new ground without losing clarity and focus. The band will hit the road in support of “Errors” in April of 2011, and plan to stay out on the road for the remainder of the year.
